Lean methodology based’ system WRENCH enterprise™ will soon drive project lifecycle management for one of India’s top business conglomerates, Lanco Infratech. A member of the UN Global Compact, Lanco has made a mark in verticals like construction, power, EPC, infrastructure, property development, and renewable energy. Lanco’s projects (in operation and under construction) represent over 8000 MW and the company is recognized today as a growing power trading leadership. WRENCH™ was chosen over several other popular EDMS products after a rigorous evaluation, and will be implemented immediately on four of Lanco’s ongoing large power projects (totaling 6700 MW capacity). This first phase implementation is estimated to take about two months, after which Lanco will roll WRENCH™ out on nine more projects which are in the construction phase, and on several completed projects on a priority basis. Lanco chose WRENCH™ because it outdistanced the competition with its efficiency-first model for project management and its emphasis on optimization and streamlining of the entire process. Since it is completely custom-built for the power project industry, WRENCH™ provided a unique mix of intelligent automation and flexibility which fitted in very well with Lanco’s requirements. Lanco’s I.T. department opted for WRENCH because it could be seamlessly integrated with the existing infrastructure, which includes Primavera, SAP and MS Exchange. “Over a decade of catering to turnkey project companies, including power giants like BHEL, has given us invaluable insights into how these companies work and what their pain points are, what their needs are. We have spent many years in fine-tuning our software to fulfill those needs fully and systematically, without adding the burden of yet another complex or impractical piece of technology.” said Varghese Daniel, Director of WRENCH Solutions in India. 2010 April 2010: SOFCON Group implements WRENCH-Enterprise for their Bulk Oil Distribution Plant at Wasea, Riyadh

2009 October 2009 : Energy City Qatar chooses to implement WRENCH Enterprise™ to integrate all project stakeholders and to monitor them in real-time Automation and collaboration to reduce the cycle time of project and go GREEN.
Energy City opted for WRENCH Enterprise™ because of the richness and relevance of features offered, and its proven track record in the infrastructure projects. Unlike similar solutions (i.e. DMS and EDMS), WRENCH Enterprise™ was created specifically for the project process and so incorporates industry best practices and knowledge of Infrastructure organizations' business needs and internal workings. Energy City conducted an in-depth evaluations on several products that offered document/file management and web collaboration before choosing WRENCH. Results showed that no other system tied together all their requirements in a single solution, or offered unique advantages like automated enforcement of quality (ISO) and project correspondence management, or system-driven knowledge archival and multilevel security options. Seeing this, Energy City decided to adopt ‘Lean & Green' methodologies demonstrated by WRENCH Enterprise with a view to cutting out waste and improving efficiency across their entire project lifecycle and reduce the carbon footprint. "We define ‘Lean & Green methodology' as a set of practices that make the project lifecycle efficient and cost-effective by cutting out everything not essential to customer satisfaction" said Varghese Daniel, Director of WRENCH Solutions. Our solution applies these practices to the project process via software technology. With it, companies like Energy City can reduce waste and increase efficiency, use their existing resources to maximum potential and also reduce the carbon footprint to the minimum by working in a paperless environment. About Energy City ECQ has the full support of the Qatari Government and aims to lead the way in hydrocarbon above ground resource development.
